3.课程介绍
Classic Yoga
We believe that classical yogic postures are the backbone toany exercise routine. But, only when done right. All our classes - from healthto power yoga batches, from therapy sessions to one-on-one weight-loss classes, from pre-natal batches to those for kids - we have a very strong base oftraditional Yoga. Each of our classes have the following tenets at their base -
Awarenesscentric - accepting our limits, alignment based.
Balancecentric - between flexibility and strength.
Corecentric - connecting deep, physically and mentally.
Our classes fall into mainly three types - Health, Fitness,P-Cube. In addition, we have batches that specialise for pre-natal, kids, etc along with our weightloss and therapyprogram. We offer individual, customized packages too.
Irrespective of which type of the above sessions it is, webelieve in safety first. Meticulous attention is paid to the alignments of eachpractice. Our teachers have an adequate knowledge of human anatomy tounderstand and correct postural alignments. They are also trained to observeand modify each practice to suit the needs of the variety of members.
Moreover, each session has an element of Praanaayam. We alsoinclude various kriyas like jal neti, traatak and agnisaar kriya regularly.
Power Yoga
Counter-intuitivelyPower Yoga is not a hundred push-ups or repetitive cardio work. Neither is ithundreds of fast Sun Salutations. It isn't a produce of the west and was infact developed by Rishi Vaman somewhere between 500 and 1500 AD for thegrihastha, the common householder - you and me.
PowerYoga is a set of postures arranged in a specific sequence. It is as much abouta controlled movement from one posture to another as it is maintaining eachposture with strength.
Itis this transition and holding of postures with stability and awareness that makes Vinyasa or what we now know as Power yoga potentiate postures to produce heat. This flushes and burns physical and mental toxins.
It was conceived for the grihastha or thehouseholder.
t is a complete exercise protocol - highintensity, intense Yoga which is stimulating & invigorating.
Improves posture which is the root of ourchair-bound lifestyle.
Prevents degeneration of muscles andjoints.
Makes the practitioner look and feel good.Vinyasa focuses on activating Agni, that is, increasing metabolism. Tone& shapeliness is a natural by-product!
Channelizes our hyperactive mind to bringfocus and composure even under pressure.
Retains the mental strength and flexibilityneeded to function efficiently.
Weoffer Power Vinyasa Yoga with Pranayama and Pilates - P Cube! P cube is anoptimised package we need in the present time!
Pilates
Pilates is an exercise system focused on improvingflexibility, strength, and body awareness, without necessarily building bulk. Two key Pilates' elements are core muscle strength and spinal alignment.
During the first half of the 20th century, a Gernam,physical-culturist Joseph Pilates, developed a system of exercises which intendto strengthen the human mind and body. Pilates believed that mental andphysical health are interrelated.
Each batch has at least one session of Pilates a week.Though these exercises may come across those seen in gymnasiums, we focus onslow movements tha engage and use muscles more rather than many repetitions. This belief is spread across our weight-loss and therapy sessions too.
Absolutely Yes ! Yoga is a well-balanced and more importantly asustainable solution. Yoga is unique and stands apart because the focus is onincreasing metabolism rather than just fat burning...Yoga provides the benefitsof cardio and significant weight training.
Yoga Weigt Training is unique as the body itself serves as theweight which gets holistically divided and one does not feel the brunt of it.Think of balancing your body weight on one leg in Vrukshasan or keeping one leglifted up against the pull of gravity, or dividing your body weight into fourparts on your four limbs in the downward facing dog or Adhomukha shvanasan..
This is what turns the table...One has to use the core of allmuscles used to do so and this awakens the sleeping metabolic pumps in thesemuscles
Our shallow breathing has made our metabolism sluggish. Onlywhen we learn to breath deep using our core muscles will we ignite the sluggishmetabolism.
Nowadays, with our changing lifestyles, it isdifficult to find a person with no aches and pains or no medical problems, including youngsters and the middle aged. Fortunately for us, be they jointpains or chronic lifestyle diseases, Yoga when applied right, has long lastingsolutions.
Experiencing better health, involves activeparticipation to increase ‘Prana’ or the life force in the body and the mind.We help make this happen through our specially designed ‘Health Batches’ with -

All the mysticism surrounding Praanaayam is just one thing -your breath. The belly-pumping, the shoulder shrugs, and the fingers on nosesyou have seen is only to achieve one thing - breath control. Why?
Pranayama is the yogic science of balancing and regulating vitalenergy or prana through the skilful manipulation of breath.
Our breath is pivotal to our physical, mental, emotional andspiritual well being. Yet, most of us however take our breath for granted, because we know not its importance. Breathing is really the most accessiblesource of creating and sustaining our vital energy - to regain health andharmony.
Our Praanaayam classes and sections of Praanaayam in regularclasses start of with correcting the faulty ways in which we breath. We thenbreak down each Praanayam practice, one at a time, session after sessionintroducing you to the wide world of Pranaayam.
Like everything we do at ParamYoga, we focus on doing the practice right and with awareness thandoing it mechanically for longer durations.
Breath awareness - we go intothis in great detail in our classes.

The fundamental intention of a Pilates class is to develop corestability and a uniformly strong and flexible body in the service ofintegrating and elevating the body, mind and spirit. Joseph Pilates, thefounder of Pilates the system of exercise (he called it Contrology), was aprolific inventor. He was driven to find as many ways as he could to help peoplecreate strong, flexible bodies that move efficiently. He therefore created asequence of exercises that are done on the mat, and a lot of exercises on whatis called Pilates equipment, or apparatus.
Pilates mat instructor training will cover all of the basic matexercises, along with ways to modify them for different populations. Pilates onthe ball, Pilates with exercise bands, are also included in the course ascombining Pilates with other exercise methods and fitness equipment is agrowing trend… While hybrid combinations can be fun and helpful, it isimportant to recognize that Pilates is a very specific methodology. So, theemphasis is given on maintaining the pilates principles in cross-over teaching.
