Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Surya teaches Primary Series, Intermediate Series and Advanced Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It is the spiritual method of practice first introduced by Krishnamachari and further developed by P. Jois and BNS Iyengar of Mysore. This method is physically demanding and the practitioner uses ujjayi breathing with asanas and vinyasa flow to connect individual postures.
The combination of ujjayi breathing with vinyasa flow creates heat in the body which leads to purification through increased circulation and sweating. Additionally, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga improves flexibility of the muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. Through a consistent practice, the student can improve overall health and vitality and reduce the risk of injury.
“Mysore Style” means that students practice at their own pace with an expert supervisor providing individual attention for adjustments. This type of consideration allows for the personal transformation of each student with their own rhythm. Small classes (under 15 students) allow each student to evolve according to their own personal development.
Teacher: Surya
Back bending & Hip opening
Back bending is the integral part of any Yoga practice. Back bending postures help to increase lung capacity, Prevent Arthritis, removes depression, strengthen and align spine .
Hip opening Yoga help to keep the pelvis and hips in proper alignment which also prevents strain and tightness in the Pelvis.Hip opening postures help to come out from stress and anxiety.
Note:- Back bending and Hip opening Asanas(Postures) help the practitioner to gain confidence in advance Hatha yoga and Ashtanga Yoga postures.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga includes different techniques, sequences and timing and also incorporates breath attention, mindful alignment and the specific cultivation of strength, flexibility and balance.
Practicing this style regularly, with attention given to proper alignment they can achieve balance in the body — and when the body is balanced, so is the mind. That allows students to relax and release the body into a gentle stretch that is held for as longer duration.
Meditation
Meditation is the scientific methodology of awareness. Many meditative techniques require one to sit still in silence. For most, the mind chatter is so loud that sitting in silence is impossible. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of the tensions. Active meditation techniques with background music help to de-stress and let-go from the pressure of modern day living.
Learn sacred techniques over the course of a week. A combination of active, passive and guided meditation methods are utilised in the one-hour classes.
Pranayama
The word Pranayama means Prana (life force) and Ayama (regulation or lengthening). Pranayama is the technique of regulating breath.
Traditionally it was believed that Pranayama should be practiced by those who have “many years’ experience” of doing Asanas (physical postures). In recent years, research has shown that Pranayama can be practiced by anybody, and that it offers many health and spiritual benefits. Pranayama can treat stress related disorders, including anxiety, fear and depression. It increases the capacity of oxygen intake and can even reduce symptoms of asthma. Regular practice of Pranayama brings awareness to the breath, calms the mind, and provides mental clarity.
Improve your overall wellbeing by attending 4 week intensive Pranayama course.
2.课程介绍
100H Ashtanga Yoga TTC
This 100 hour Yin Yoga will give the budding instructor the insights and understandings to lead effective long-hold, deep-stretch classes within the context codified by Paul Grilley and further developed by Christopher Drozd.
The basis of the practice is a series of postures that focuses primarily on the hips and low back, although other joints may receive stimulation and attendant benefits, as well.
The cadre of Yin postures is small in comparison the the vast Hatha repertoire, and its alignment particulars are more directly determined by the yogi’s physical structure than by the aesthetic execution of any pose. Some postures will come easily, others will require more patience to accomplish and some may simply prove impossible, all based on the individual’s bony architecture. By exploring the capabilities of one’s own body, as well as others’ within this teacher training setting the aspirant gains an unparalleled self understanding that can immediately be applied within any yoga class setting, not just in Yin yoga.
Further, within the Yin yoga setting a philosophy of practice can be compiled and presented to students, less as a stand-alone endeavour and more as a complement to the more Yang disciplines of flow yoga, dance, swimming, cycling, running and the like. That is, the more static Yin practice, the physical and mental stillness that’s cultivated, class to class, balances the rhythm and repetition of Yang activities and establishes a Tao of exercise that supports health, well-being and performance. Yin yoga can rightly be billed as the real Yoga for Athletes!
Over two weeks students will practice the various Yin postures as participants in 75 minute classes, as well as in a pedagogical setting. Following their own practice the same postures and sequence will be detailed with regard to their positioning, including modifications, and to the benefits delivered to muscle, fascia, ligaments and joints. It’s all simple folding, bending and twisting… on the surface.
Yoga, of course, is more than just a physical journey. Teacher training students will learn how to compose their classes so as to ensure their students are being led through their practice, consciously and subconsciously, in ways that reinforce their expected and deserved desires for relaxation and rejuvenation. Language patterns will be taught that allow the Yin yoga teacher to guide their students confidently toward a more receptive state of mind where positive affirmations can be presented, received and ultimately utilised by their students.
The Yoga anatomy section addresses bones, joints, muscles, connective tissue along with the concept of tensegrity. When viewed in terms of floating compression, where the skeleton is suspended within a myofascial network, a new perspective of traditional yoga begins to evolve organically from Yin yoga training. The importance of stimulating connective tissue with protracted tension or compression, and the significance of each of these elements will be articulated as it is demonstrated pose to pose.
Finally, there will be a short history of Yin yoga and how it’s been distilled into this particular form. As well, concepts of Yin / Yang will be covered and made accessible.
This Yin teacher training is academic, experiential and enlightening. For some it may prove to be a deeply spiritual experience, something they can joyously share with their students. Because, in exploring one’s self in this way so as to discover the Self through the physical limb of yoga is yet one more opportunity for awakening. But, if nothing else, the teacher training student will learn how to get and give a righteous stretch!
1st and 2nd week: Techniques covered Kapalabhati, Bastrika, Ujjai, Nadi shodana, Surya bhedana, Chendra bedana, Anuloma-Viloma, Shithali, Shitkari and Bramari.

Pranayama is control of Breath”. “Prana” is Breath or vital energy in the body. On subtle levels Prana represents the Pranic energy responsible for life or life force, and “Ayama” means control. So Pranayama is “Control of Breath”. One can control the rhythms of Pranic energy with Pranayama and achieve healthy “body-mind”.
Covering some of the basics of muscular skeletal anatomy we will also be looking closely at joint mechanics, where movement comes from, the nature of body tissues and how they are affected through yoga. Sessions will include multimedia presentations, hands on anatomy, case studies of injuries and why difficulties with certain movements can occur.

The nervous system
The spine and intervertebral Disc

Techniques covered: Intoning the sounds , 3rd eye , Nadabrahma , Osho Kundalini , Chakra sounds , Chakra Breathing , Gourishankara , Relaxing body & mind , Conscious sleeping and dreaming , Vipasana and Zazen.
The entire Eight Limbs of the Patanjali system are also sometimes referred to as Dhyana or the meditative path, although strictly speaking, only the last 4 limbs constitute meditation Pratyahara, Dhyana, Dharana, and Samādhi. The preceding steps are only to prepare the body and mind for meditation: Meditation starts by being separate from the mind, by being a witness. That is the only way of separating ourselves from anything.
Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and silent. But for most of us accumulated stress in our body-mind makes that difficult. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions. Active Meditations have been scientifically designed by Osho for the contemporary man.
The activity itself creates the situation in which passivity happens.

Practitioners at every level can access the benefits of asanas like handstand, headstand, arm balancing postures, and enhanced back-bends – all of which can otherwise be unattainable and possibly even dangerous. It’s also conducive to rehabilitative classes, allowing those who have sustained injuries to gently and safely reintegrate the benefits of physical activity into their lives.
Instructor-trainees of Suspension Yoga™ will become familiar with the basics of teaching Suspension Yoga™ and learn to instruct from a whole new perspective. When effectively integrated into a full exercise regimen, the playful techniques and remarkable results are reported to increase client loyalty and training consistency.
How does Suspension Yoga™ Training differ from Aerial or Anti-Gravity Yoga?
Suspension Yoga™ is a style of aerial movement that incorporates yoga with gravity-resistance training, spinal therapy and aerobatics. Although similarities exist with other aerial movement modalities, there are also significant differences that rest mainly the equipment used; Anti-Gravity hammocks or “silks” once hung, cannot be readjusted easily during a class. The 14 height settings of the YogiGym® Suspension Sling makes it a much more customizable apparatus that provides easy adjustments for a wider variety of poses and exercises. The fabric of the Anti-Gravity hammocks consist of a stretchy poly knit fabric that can constrict circulation and result in bruising where as the breathable parachute material and generous foam cushion support of the YogiGym® offers a much more comfortable inversion experience. In addition, the YogiGym’s handles offer added stability and off-loading capabilities, making it far more versatile, user friendly and safe .
The Course will be conducted by International Suspension Yoga Master and Director of THE FLYING YOGI® STUDIO in Canada, Beatrix Montanile.

It is a process of systematically encountering, examining, and transcending each of the various gross and subtle levels of false identity in the mind field, until the jewel of the true Self comes shining through.
When Patanjali codified, or compiled the Yoga Sutras, it was not that a new system was created, but rather, the ancient practices were summarized in an extremely organized and scientific way.

3rd and 4th week : Advance variations of 1st & 2nd week practice , Bandas, Mudra will be added.
4th week : Trainees will lead the class and practical exam evaluated by mystic school faculties.
Lecture’s to include:
Anatomy basics, terminology, movements and surface anatomy
How tissues are affected during asana
The nervous system
The spine and intervertebral Disc
The knee
The hip
The shoulder and elbow
The ankle and Balance
Postural analysis

Chapter 1 Samadhi Pada (Concentration)
Chapter 2 Sadhana Pada (Practice)
Chapter 3 Vibhuti Pada (Progressing)
Chapter 4 Kaivalya Pada (Liberation)
Yoga Sutras of Patanjali succinctly outlines the art and science of yoga meditation for self-realization.
