‘Yogadarshanam’ is one of the six philosophy (Shad Darshanam) of the India known as ‘Pathanjali Ashtanga Yogadarshanam’. We retained the last word ‘Yogadarshanam’ to respect Indian classical heritage to transfer to the new generations and we added the word ‘Ayush’ to give RE-LIFE to the YOGA field without modifying classical Indian yogic science. So that it became “ Ayush Yogadarshanam”.
The first word ‘Ayush’ meaning is “Life Span”, The middle word ‘Yoga” meaning is “ Union of Body, Mind, Spirit” and the last word ‘Darshanam’ meaning is “ Vision”. Hence Ayush Yogadarshanam or AYD is Union of body, Mind and Spirit to enhance Life Span Or vision to enhance life span by Union of Body, Mind and Spirit.
Today, Ayush Yogadarshanam is recognized as Yogadarshanam Spiritual. Pvt. Limited registered under Government of India under Company act and Yoga alliance USA. The activities we did previously and the whatever activities we undertake in the future come under the brand of “AYUSH YOGADARSHANAM”.

Yogacharya Santhosh Kumar
Yogacharya Santhosh Kumar born on 8th April,1983 as the first son of the couple Sri Bhaskar and Bhavaniyamma in a small village Koluru , Kundapur talluk near the costal area of Udupi district. Basically he was an artist and dancer (classical, folk).Most of his childhood was spent with nature, practising yoga in his childhood with Sri Kumar (A good Yakshagana artist and yoga Guru) and Yoga Guru Dr.R. Pai from Shanthivana Trust,Yoga and Naturopathy center Dharmasthala(An international holy place). Later he got a opportunity to train sufficiently with a B.K.S Iyengar Student. This experience motivated to do 2 years strict Sadhana on “Light on Yoga” and finally as a dreams come true to meet and pursue B.K.S. Iyengar (Yoga legend and world’s Most renowned Yoga Master) and his Son Prashanth and daughter Geethaji and from Art of living system as well as enough experience from Baba Ramdev Guruji’s system. Today, He is graduated teacher in education from KSEEB Government of Karnataka, Completed his degree and graduated in nutrition and health education from University Of Mysore (Distinction) and completed Advance Yoga Teacher Training from Shivananda Vedantha Center, Kerala and Annamalai University , Tamil Nadu with Excellent grade and honorary degree for his study and achievement from Swamy Sudhir Aananda, Reshikesh, Uttarkhanda.
He was suffering from knee pain , sinusitis , tonsillitis etc in his childhood. He got rid of all these problems by Yoga treatment and developed very good interest in yoga field along with his Education. So later his experience and tremendous qualifications is motivated to teach yoga in his own style founding his own studio known as “Yogadarshanam” has trained several students from various field like schools ,colleges, hospitals and IT/BT companies like WIPRO, INFOSYS, L& T etc.
Today, with an ample qualification and experience in yoga field trained 2000+ Certified Yoga Teachers form 100+ Countries under the brand of “AYUSH YOGA DARSHANAM” in Gokulam, Mysore . He is also one in Mysore, South India training and educating both Indians and westerns as well as conducting Yoga work shop, Yoga Retreat, Teachers Training in different countries through his overseas journey.
Recently he has received RASHTRA VIBHUSHAN AWARD for outstanding individual achievement and distinguished services to the NATION on the occasion of NATIONAL SEMINAR on outstanding contribution for NATIONAL ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT on April 2015 from Foundation for accelerated community empowerment, NGO, New Delhi.
Presently Santhosh Kumar is preparing for future Research Work in Yoga Field on “Yoga and illness.”
About Yoga
Yoga is a systematic scientific process of self un-foldment and an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind and spirit. • Swami Vivekananda – Yoga is a way to condense the process of evolution. Yogic concept of human body
According to the World Health Organization ( WHO) the state of health is defined as a state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well being and not merely an absence of disease or infirmity. As per the yogic tradition and taittariya upanishadic principles, there are five sheathes of existence of man called ‘kosha’ yogic management ( Yoga therapy) provides various techniques to bring back the balance of each koshas.(Study more in TTC & therapy class)
1. Annamaya Kosha( physical ) – Asanas, kriyas, diet and relaxation
2. Pranamaya Kosha ( pranic) – pranayama, breathing techniques, etc.
3. Manomaya Kosha ( Mental) – Mediation , devotional sessions, alpha music therapy
4. Vijnanomaya Kosha ( rational) – National corrections through counseling
5. Anandamaya Kosha – Practice of joy in all circumstance and work in relaxation ( Karma Yoga, Seva Yoga)
Chakras ( Psychic energy centers)
If the aim is to relax and gain optimum physical benefit from yoga practices, it is necessary to concentrate on something(Dristi or Focus) by directing the mind to a specific region of the body or the breath, the effect will be increased. These particular region is called chakras nothing but Energy centers or whirlpool. associated with the major nerve plexuses (endocrine glands of the body). Chakra will damages when you don’t do exercise or if you add toxin from tablets, medicines. So you need to heal or balance your chakras with specific yoga process. The major chakras are seven in number and are located along with the pathway of the spinal cord from the base of the spine to crown . Different Sanskrit alphabets, petals, Bija mantra ( sound), Elements, color, Mudra are used for Chakra ( for more details- TTC)

Yogadarshanam now started Sathvik Home made Yoga food for our Training students. Food includes a standard recipe served in most of the Ashrama and Yoga school of India. Food Cooked with care and served with love and compassion. 1 break fast(Tea/coffee with Roti, Dosa, Idli, Upma, Pongal, etc) and 2 Vegetarian meals(Rice, Chapathi, Vegetables, curry, Subji, Sambar, Curd, with some special dishes) served throughout the Training programme 6 days a week. So that you can book course and Food together in the package.
Gokulam also has lots of mouth watering foods and variety of menu on breakfast , lunch , Dinner both European and Indian style around the school in yoga cafe , restaurant and in some places for home made food .
Students can also take responsibility to eat on their choice if they don’t want to include in PACKAGE Since most of the students have their own personal ethics and choice in food .

Beginner, Intermediate
A building needs a very good foundation to stand long-time without any damage. Likewise a yoga practitioner has to be based on a good foundation in all the way to progress in yoga field. This foundation course is combination of beginner and intermediate Asana and other Yoga practices, provides good base to practitioner in all the layers of the body, prepares nervous system, stretches and strengthens muscular system, increases flexibility with attractive body shape, firmness in the posture and in the mind takes in to higher level of the yoga practice.
Beginners
If you are unfamiliar to yoga or if you don’t have enough preparation mentally and physically you can choose beginners course. We will set the yoga programme depending upon flexibility, needs and requirements of the students. It is fully student oriented practice , gives firm base in yoga field without injury and with full of joy.
Intermediates
This practice needs little knowledge and preparation in yoga field. This is extended part of the beginners practice in Foundation session. The special practice schedule on each part of the body takes you to advance yoga practice.
It is an ongoing course. Full course takes full of 4weeks with above schedule. Student also can take regular foundation yoga sessions for any length of time but at least minimum of 1week. Foundation course s very useful to learn fundamental things of yoga and yoga concepts and to understand asanas, pranayama ,meditation , etc to keep regular practice to be fit and healthy. Suitable for one who wishes to take Yoga Teachers Training Course in near Future or in order to prepare well to the any up coming Training courses
Advance Yoga TTC
Some of you may struggle with stiff back and discomfort to sit and weak in balancing with Hand , head , Leg etc. Here we have solutions in Advance Mysore Yoga sessions.
We teach many difficult yoga postures with anatomical techniques to get good flexibility in back, hip as well as to balance in most of the Balancing Asanas very easily. For this proposes we have adapted a suitable Mysore Style Yoga classes followed with selected with Suitable techniques of the B.K.S.Iyengar getting into posture and out of the posture flow like Mysore Style Vinyasa Yoga . Mudra Yoga
Mudra means ‘seal’ or ‘Gesture’ and also medical science believes circuit by pass. It is a branch of ancient yogic science like Hatha Yoga. It has been mentioned that Mudras are more powerful than asanas and Pranayama. Several Mudras can be practiced to regulate , several involuntary, physiological and biochemical activities . Today Mudra is used to cure illness, to balance body and mind etc.

Partner | Acro Yoga
Partner yoga is nothing but doing same traditional yoga in pair. Along with intimation, love, personal relationship, it also helps to do many challenging Asanas very easily with special Partner yoga techniques and to improve flexibility with the help of partner support. This yoga has its own techniques, style and different formations while doing Asana and moving from one Asana to another asana with Grip, hand lock , different formation etc.This practice co-ordinates body and minds of the two partners. It is a way of bonding, humility and value development. Also, Personal and social relationship will improve with broad mind while doing this yoga between couples, friends, etc. Equal height, strength, flexibility is good for practice but not really needed.

Mantra Chanting(spirituality)
“Man” means mind “Tra” mean a tool or instrument hence mantra is a “Instrument of Thought” Mantras has origin from Vedic period. Mantra may have meaning or may not have meaning, but chanted carefully with proper understanding and pronunciation to get effected on psychic body with proper vibration. In mantra OM is called base or fundamental mantra (Pranava) hence it is suffixed and prefixed with other mantras mantra thaerapy helps to care certain psychic ailments with specific mantra for specific problems.

We retained the last word ‘Yogadarshanam’ to respect Indian classical heritage to transfer to the new generations and we added the word ‘Ayush’ to give RE-LIFE to the YOGA field without modifying classical Indian yogic science. So that it became “ Ayush Yogadarshanam”.
The first word ‘Ayush’ meaning is “Life Span”, The middle word ‘Yoga” meaning is “ Union of Body, Mind, Spirit” and the last word ‘Darshanam’ meaning is “ Vision”. Hence Ayush Yogadarshanam or AYD is Union of body, Mind and Spirit to enhance Life Span Or vision to enhance life span by Union of Body, Mind and Spirit.
